Processing boundary

Tools generally run in the browser. If a feature needs network access, it will tell you before use. Network access, local processing, and device security are separate concerns.

Running locally can reduce the chance that an input leaves the device, but it cannot guarantee that the device, browser extensions, network, or operating system is free of risk.

Inputs and storage

Before entering data, consider whether it belongs on the current device and browser, especially on a public or shared device. Browsers may retain history, downloads, or site data.

Preferences or favorites in localStorage are managed by the browser. Clearing site data or using private browsing affects them.

Using results safely

Results can be affected by inputs, rounding, formula assumptions, and real-world conditions. Verify important outcomes with an appropriate independent source.
